International Artist Residency
Facilitated by the Indian Ceramics Triennale and British Ceramics Biennial, the International Artists Residency Exchange, brought Sumana Chandrashekar, hereditary ghatam makers U V K Ramesh and Hariharan K and British artist duo Isaac Stacey and Sonny Lee Lightfoot (Copper Sounds) in a truly a collaborative and creatively enriching residency at Art Ichol in Maihar, Madhya Pradesh

Workshops
Sumana regularly offers rhythm and rhythm-based creative workshops centred around movement, music-making and tapping into one's inner creativity . These workshops have been conducted at the theatre school NINASAM, at the Ziro Festival of Music, The Regional Institute of Education, Mysore and Visthaar Academy, Bangalore to name a few.

A sonic exploration of Indian percussion beats and their rhythmic structures with live electronics by Serafin Aebli, artist-in-residence at Indian Music Experience, in collaboration with Sumana Chandrashekar on ghatam and Adarsh Shenoy on Tabla.
